This is still pretty preliminary. It’s based on this Meta color scheme. Any thoughts?

Yankee Pot Roast: William Carlos Williams Is a Really Bad Roommate

There isn’t all that much I like about NY Penn Station except in the NJ Transit terminal there is poetry engraved into the walls. One of these poems is “Red Wheelbarrow” by William Carlos Williams. William Carlos Williams didn’t write the poems in the link above, but he could have.

The Choice

The New Yorker editors endorse (surprise!) Barack Obama. It’s a thoughtful overview of the divide between McCain and Obama on the most relevant issues of the day.

So I love ukuleles for many reasons. This is just one of them. The “Theme From Shaft” from the Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain.

Federal Reserve Skateboard: A Short Story

My mom worked for the Federal Reserve Board when I was younger. I’m…fairly certain this isn’t exactly how they operate.

(Although if it is, I suddenly have a whole lot more respect for my mother’s ninja skills.)

Loves Me… Loves Me Not

Hello Friends,

So I decided to try out a different design tonight. My guess is the backlash will be strong and I’ll wind up going back to the design that was up yesterday. But, please be nice and give this one a chance… I’ve been wanting to do a light-on-dark design for a long time, so I decided to try it out. If you hate it (or love it), you know what to do.

Cheers,
Nevan

Someone fire their agents! 26 actors who deserve better careers

The A.V. Club gives their picks. Given that the recent Batman movie kind of slighted his character, I’d say Aaron Eckhart also belongs on this list. (If you don’t believe me, watch him opposite Helena Bonham Carter in Conversations with Other Women)
